I haven't been interested in this book (or the series) ever since it first appeared, but I picked it up for some reason, and read like 80 pages in one sitting. It is incredibly juvenile, and as my friend would say, there is better-written fanfiction, but I find the central romance very sexy. I am pretty sure I'm reading it because I can't think of anything else (until I get a copy of "The Fire", that is), so it serves its purpose.

tell you what... my boyfriend persuaded me to see this movie last night and for some reason, i was completely drawn in. maybe because of my love for anne rice and the vampire genre, and the central story to "twilight" being a love story rather than a run-of-the-mill blood-feast. i really enjoyed the movie and am considering getting the books now.
