Movies update!

So, I was thinking I would update you with some movies I've seen recently (apart from "The Dark Knight", which I've already commented on). There are only three of them, which proves how little time I have on my hands (if I could I would watch a movie every day). And by the way, if you have a Flixter account, add me. If you don't, you should make one. ANYWAY.

Love and Other Disasters

"Love and Other Disasters" is one of those ridiculous movies you can't help but love. Brittany Murphy is very funny and adorable, as is everybody else involved. It's like "Sex and the City" meets any Meg Ryan movie, and it works. Oh, and it has a perfect ending, with two great cameos!

Boy A

Now, this one is really good. It's a heart-breaking, and at times, unsettling story that will probably leave you breathless. Andrew Garfield gave an amazing, Oscar-worthy performance!

American Psycho

I am not sure how I feel about this movie. I enjoyed it, that's a fact, but it left me expecting more. However, Christian Bale was really, really good (unlike the surprisingly bad Reese Witherspoon), and the movie itself looked really good.

Any thoughts?

I haven't seen the first two, but American Psycho is one of my favorites. What an insane movie! I saw it when it was at the theaters years ago. It just gave me the creeps and made me fall in love with Christian Bale, what a great actor! Another Bale movie to watch: The Machinist. Holy crap. Check it out when you get time!

Sure, I definitely will!

I liked "American Psycho", but it left me feeling kinda stupid, because I felt like I've missed, like, some crucial scenes. :)

I LOVE American Psycho and I actually thought Reese was pretty good, she's supposed to be THAT annoying.

I guess. And it was a small role, so it doesn't really matter (I usually like her).

Anyways, I have to write another blog post soon, it's been a while. :S

Hey Nik, thanks for the comment on my blog!

And actually, I love American Psycho. You just have to keep in mind it's a comedy. A very black, black comedy...

Oh, I know.

At a certain point, it was hard not to consider it a comedy. :)
